Description: |
Blackware pottery figural vessel in the form of a long necked bird having a crested head, pointed beak, upcurved tail spout and central, funnel-rimmed opening between the wings. Raised wings and nub feet, incised linear details. Calcified earthen deposits on surface. Beak and crest restored, with reattached tail, left wing and neck, body repaired from a few large original pieces. |
