Description: |
Matching pair of small cylinder vases of translucent, cream-white alabaster with veining throughout. Both have double drilled perforation at the top edge, probably originally for a bail or cover attachment. Both are repaired from approximately four large original pieces and one has a narrow 3” vertical band of restoration in the lower side. Rare and elegant examples. |
