Description: |
Solid pottery standing figure wearing a decorated headdress and depicted with very large ovoid recessed eyes, angular jawline and nicely sculpted facial features. Face painted red with white eyes and scattered highlights. Missing from left forearm, right ear ornament, right thumb and finger. Wearing a large disc ear ornament and pectoral. Repaired from seven original pieces, with break lines visible. A very rare type. Custom bronze base. |
