Description: |
Polychrome decorated pottery owl form vessel, with a tall tapered rear spout, and having an incorporated, working whistle. Depicting a perched owl with two whistle vents in his forehead, and perked ears, painted fruits on his chest. Overall painted feather decoration. Spout and head reattached, missing strap handle, body repaired from three large original pieces and a few small pieces, break lines left visible. |
