| Description: |
Both are carved from algarroba wood, and inset with turquoise or chrysocolla. The snuff tray depicts a warrior shaman holding a trophy head and tumi knife, inlaid turquoise eyes. The tube has a carved abstract face of geometric design, and inset turquoise eyes. Both have excellent ancient surface patinas. The tube has some minor ancient loss to the tip, otherwise both are intact examples. Mounted together on a custom black lucite display base. Nice examples. |
