Description: |
Large red and tan pottery male seated figure with wide round arms, holding a drum between his legs. Semiabstract facial features, round perforated eyes and mouth. Depicted with antennae horns and wearing perforated disc ear ornaments. Black resist geometric facial decoration. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Head and horns reattached, arms repaired and reattached, and a very minor chip on left eye, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A nice example. |
