Large carved grayish-green serpentine stone yoke, having overall deeply carved decoration, with a large stylized central deity face, flanked on both sides and the top with interlocking geometric decoration, depicting stylized bird heads. A profile deity head near the end of both tails, holding a ceremonial staff. Pecked on the interior surface. A few minor ancient edge chips, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. |
