Fine greenish-black serpentine stone maskette, depicting a human face in transition, with beautifully carved facial features, bow shaped lips, deeply recessed large eyes with drilled pupils, arched brows, tiny drilled nostrils and tab ears with drilled pierced lobes. Two biconical suspension holes on the top edge. Overall excellent ancient oxidized surface patina Intact, exc. cond. A really beautiful, high quality example. |
