Description: Blue-green glazed faience pottery amulet depicting the enthroned Sekh-met, wearing the tall maat feathered crown and the royal wig. Integral perforated suspension lug behind his crowm. General surface weathering, chip on his left leg and right tip of crown, repaired break line across his torso. Mounted on an old black painted wood base.
Provenance: Collection of Dr. W. Benson Harer, Los Angeles, California, purchased July 25, 1975; ex. Superior Galleries, Los Angeles, California, purchased in early 1975. Ex. Philip Mitry collection, with Anglo-American Bookstore, Cairo, 1940’s, and imported to USA circa 1952.
