Description: |
Group of five different solid pottery figures, including an acrobat wearing a headdress secured with a chin strap, and wearing protective body gear. Chip on the tip of his left front hand, some scattered small restored chips. A rare example. Together with a seated figure wearing a tall headdress, necklace, arm bands and multi-belted loincloth with tassels. Repaired from approximately five original pieces with restoration over the break lines, nose restored. Three different standing figures, including the tallest has a reattached head. The medium example has a reattached head and left arm. The shortest example has a shallow chip on the back of her left arm. |
