Very fine, tumbaga/gold, lost wax casting having high silver content, in the form of a human figure playing a flute and wearing a tall, large brimmed hat. Interestingly wears the typical Sinu, crescentic, faux filigree earrings and bears small, relief facial features. A small casting flaw above the left eye and a smaller flaw above the right eye. Edge areas of black, are oxidized copper and silver. Otherwise exc. cond.; and a high quality example. Custom tiered bronze mount. |
