Five different examples including a Neolithic Balkin red-brown sandstone head, originally from a figure, having a round face and wearing a tall headdress, weathered surface with scattered encrustation. Together with a South Italian black glazed pottery head fragment, depicting Dionysos, probably from a guttos tondo, edge losses. An Anatolian small carved tan-white stone bearded head. Custom black pedestal base. A Sumerian carved bone bovine head, having incised details. Overall tan surface patina. Intact. Finally, a Roman molded yellow-green glass lion head, beautifully detailed, edge losses. |
