Weapon of heavy hardwood with fine deeply engraved wavy linear patterns in separate panels on underside, and opposing curved claw. Nicks on claw and pommel, minor hairline age crack along shaft. Medium brown burnished patina.
Fiji clubs were prized possessions, used in dance, as weapons, and indicators of prestige. |
