| Description: |
Two different carved wooden canopas or tallow containers, each depicting a llama or alpaca with a carved head and bulbous body having a large drilled vessel opening in the center of their backs. One with a dewlap. Both have excellent ancient surface patinas. The smaller example has scattered areas of high point and surface wear, and a few minor losses. The larger example has ancient rim roughness and some scattered surface digs, otherwise intact. |
